Over the last ten years as the number of tile importers has increased so too has the need for a quick response time to orders placed. Many companies now do not want to commit to full container loads of tiles; groupage enables then to place smaller orders and ensures a quicker response in today's "just in time" society. To remain on top of the changing times, in 1995 we formed our sister company Bradship European Transport Limited. Prior to that time and since, many haulage companies were going into liquidation and we needed a transport company that we could rely on to provide a capable and reliable service for our European market They now operate a fleet of 10 tractor units and 17 trailers, which are solely dedicated to our import needs. Every week in addition to our own vehicles we use as many dedicated subcontract vehicles many of which are owner driven. On average we move about 400 tonnes of ceramic tiles a week by road.
